About Nandini:
I am Nandini and I am very excited to work with you guys this semester! I am currently a MSc student in the Faculty of Medicine, in the Experimental Medicine department. My research experience primarily involves studying and analyzing public health initiatives, specifically in the substance use, safer supply and addiction realm. For my masters, I am working on understanding the impact of a specific drug policy on clinical outcomes (such as healthcare utilization, engagement with addiction treatment, etc.) among people who use drugs. I also have some experience working in general social and health sciences/services research – contributing to project looking at things like blood donation campaigns, cultural impacts of food insecurity, social eating, etc. So if you ever want to chat addiction, healthcare, health policy, mental health or anything else that’s even remotely related, I’m your gal! Looking forward to chatting with you all 🙂
