Duy Pham (he/him)

Undergraduate • 3rd Year • Faculty of Science

Research Interests:
Biostatistics, Clinical Research, Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling

About Duy:
I’m Duy. I major in Microbiology & Immunology and minor in Data Science. I did research on biostatistics, human genetics, computational biology, and AI. At Zhejiang University, I trained and fine-tuned a deep learning model to detect and quantify epileptic seizures in knockout mice for epilepsy studies. At BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute, I did scRNA-seq analysis to identify and characterize a rare cell population in pediatric inflammatory diseases. At Vietnam’s National Children’s Hospital, I developed statistical models for rare disease research. At the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, I did computational biology work in scRNA-seq analysis. At HUPH, I conducted biostatistics research, resulting in peer-reviewed publications and oral presentations. My goal is to develop AI-driven computational approaches that advance precision medicine and our understanding of diseases. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in any of these experiences!
