Research Interests:
Cardiovascular Research, Anatomy, Medical Imaging, Physiology, Translational Research
About Kia:
My research interests include vision science and ophthalmology, particularly corneal disease, refractive and cataract surgery, ocular biometry, and advanced imaging technologies such as OCT. I am also interested in molecular biology and genetics, including DNA integrity and PCR-based analysis. More broadly, I enjoy clinical and translational research that connects biological mechanisms and quantitative methods with practical improvements in patient care and laboratory practice. These interests build on my research experience across ophthalmic and molecular biology projects.
