About Kate:
I am a second-year Master of Arts student in Counselling Psychology with research interests in understanding how identity-related stressors shape the well-being of marginalized populations. Over the past six years, I have pursued research training in six psychology laboratories at the University of British Columbia across counselling, clinical, school, and developmental psychology. These experiences have allowed me to contribute to all stages of the research process, including literature reviews, study conceptualization, ethics applications, data collection and cleaning, analysis and interpretation, and the written and oral dissemination of findings. As a Research Coach, I hope to support students in developing confidence and practical skills throughout the research process
