About Aidan:
Hello my name is Aidan and I am a master’s student in the Cell and Developmental Biology program in the faculty of Medicine at UBC. I did my undergraduate degree at UBC in Cell and Developmental Biology as part of the Biology program. Throughout my undergrad I gained lots of insight from student mentors that was extremely helpful for navigating undergraduate research. During undergrad I had the opportunity to work in multiple labs researching different topics in biology and the life sciences ranging from plant cell divisions to cancer specific surface proteins. I have experience reaching out to labs, applying and receiving undergraduate research funding and continuing research into graduate school.
