  • Oct 13: Matching results announced
  • Oct 18: Mentee Professional Development (PD) workshop (mandatory for matched mentees, 6-7 PM on Zoom)
  • Mid-late Oct: Introductory meetings between mentor & mentees
  • Oct 30: How to Write a Research Question Workshop with Dr. Rick Gooding (for mentees, 6-7 PM on Zoom)

Please note that completion of all three (3) feedback surveys is required for certification from the program for mentees. Mentors are not obligated to provide feedback, however your feedback is greatly appreciated by the REX committee.

All graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at UBC are welcome to apply to become a REX mentor. Undergraduate students, regardless of the extent of their research experience, are unfortunately not eligible to become a REX mentor.
